What you get
I evaluate the service within agreed scope. I offer audits in different packages:
1. Light audit
Gives an overview of the current state. Only includes findings of issues and doesn’t provide solutions. Light audit only includes one session where results are discussed and presented.
2. Medium audit
Gives a good overview of the current state. Includes findings of issues and also provides solutions for those issues. Solutions may not be inline with your organizations guidelines, but they mainly serve as pointers.
3. Thorough audit
Gives a thorough overview of the current state. Includes findings of issues and also provides solutions for those issues. Provided solutions are perfected to the end and are inline with your organizations guidelines. Includes a checkup meeting during and after implementation.
The main focuspoints in my evaluation are:
1. General usability
I investigate if there are clear issues in usability caused by UI, whether navigation within the service is easy or if information is presented in a clear and understandable manner.
2. Get an outsiders view of your current process
As an independent auditor, I have no expectations or information of the current state of your service. I could potentially have alternative views of the process.
I assess the contrasts and legibilty of UI components and test the keyboard-navigation & focus states. Screenreader auditing is limited to quick overview.
